Thanks in part to a Local Impact grant from the California Arts Council, Nevada County Arts Council and Nevada City Film Festival are partnering with Nisenan Tribal members and CHIRP to raise visibility through film. The first episode of Nisem K’auwak’ - We Are Here, and other film moments will be presented throughout Nisenan Heritage Month.
